HELENA — The Helena Bighorns had no trouble taking down the Yellowstone Quake in a conference matchup by a score of 8-1
Bighorns forward Darren Donovan notched a hat trick through the first and second period, and then added an assist to Hayden Seitz late in the third period.
Yellowstone’s Luke Hatge notched the lone goal for the Quake midway through the third period, but the Quake we’re unable to contain the Bighorns’ explosive offense in the 8-1 rout.
The Bighorns and the Quake are slated to duke it out on last time on Jan. 5 at 7:05 p.m. at the Helena Ice Arena.
