MISSOULA — The Montana high school state lacrosse tournament started Friday in Missoula. After Day 1, eight teams remained — four on the girls side and four on the boys — with a shot to play in the state title game.
In the boys bracket, it was Bozeman beating Missoula Hellgate 21-7 and Kalispell Glacier taking down Helena 14-7.
In the girls bracket, it was Bozeman crushing Helena 14-3 and Hellgate beating Jackson Hole 6-5.
The girls championship game is at 10:45 a.m. and the boys game is at 3:30 p.m. Both will be played in Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
