It was a busy Saturday in the Treasure State with both the Montana and Montana State football teams playing Big Sky Conference home games.
Montana Tech and Carroll College were also at home on the Frontier Conference football fields.
In high school action, Chester-Joplin-Inverness and Power-Dutton-Brady met in a crucial 6-Man North matchup. And the first champions of the fall sports seasons were crowned on the Class AA and Class A golf courses this week.
