AUSTIN, Texas - WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) today announced that the August 11-15 Stampede at The E will unite several of the world’s largest open and youth rodeos with a revolutionary qualifying opportunity including:
- THE AMERICAN
- The IPRA (International Pro Rodeo Association)
- The Junior World Finals
- THE Jr. AMERICAN
Athletes competing in the Stampede at The E now have unprecedented qualifying opportunities. For the first time in western sports history one rodeo will offer athletes a pathway to five major youth and open events.
Details regarding each event qualification opportunity listed below:
THE AMERICAN (2021)
- Athletes competing in the Open Pools (In the following disciplines)
- Steer Wrestling
- Team Roping (heading and heeling)
- Tie-down Roping
- Breakaway Roping
- Minimum of five qualifying positions available
- $375 side pot fee ($265 for breakaway ropers)

THE 2020 JUNIOR WORLD FINALS (December 2020)
- Athletes competing in the DY Pool (In the following disciplines)
- Steer Wrestling (Ote Berry’s Junior Steer Wrestling World Championship)
- Membership required
- $100 side pot

- IPRA sanctioned event
- All athletes who earn money can count up to $10,000 towards the IPRA World Standings
- To be eligible:
- Must be IPRA members prior to the start of competition
- Compete in a minimum of three IPRA events in 2020
THE 2021 Jr. AMERICAN (March 2-5)
- Athletes competing in the Youth Open Entry Pool (In the following disciplines)
- Steer Wrestling (The Patriot Event)
- Team Roping- heading and heeling (The Patriot Event)
- Tie-down Roping (Chris Neal Productions)
- Breakaway Roping (Chris Neal Productions)
- Must be a Jr. AMERICAN Member
- Must enter/pay the Jr. AMERICAN $200 side pot fee
- Top 10 in the average advance
- Must have at least one (1) qualified time to advance
- Jr. AMERICAN memberships can be purchased at jramericanrodeo.com

Entries for the projected $600,000 Stampede at The E held in Guthrie, Oklahoma at the Lazy E Arena are now open and close August 5 at 5 p.m. CT. Early entry fees for the open division will be $625 while DY fees will be $500. All entries will be taken on entrytool.com [entrytool.com].
On Sunday, Aug. 29 fans will be able to tune into Stampede At The E on a CBS network broadcast.
