COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy, in Colorado Springs, Colo., launched a new website this month (prorodeohalloffame.com), making for a cleaner look and a more mobile-friendly site.
Among some of the highlights on the new website are links to all social media platforms of the Hall, a blog titled “Museum Notes” that will house all press releases, announcements and staff articles, and information on community and industry affiliations and increased links to museum and rodeo industry partners.
“We are excited to launch this new and improved website for the ProRodeo Hall of Fame,” said Kent Sturman, director of the Hall. “It is something we have been working on for a few months now and we took the opportunity of having some downtime during the COVID-19 closure to finish the project. I want to acknowledge and thank Sara Tadken, our Marketing and Events Coordinator, for all her time, effort and talent in getting the new site designed, developed and launched. We hope our fans, guests and those visiting the site enjoy the new content and information available. And be sure to check back often as we will be adding more information and features in the next few weeks.”
With the update, patrons looking to visit the Hall of Fame can purchase general admission tickets online, once the museum is re-opened following local safety guidelines set due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The site also displays additional accolades, awards and honors added to each inductee’s profile on the site. The feature will continue to be updated and added to over the coming months.
More video content will be viewable, while information on the Hall’s school and youth educational programs will be readily available.
The site will also make it easier for fans to make donations and show their support.
