ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Montana bull riders had a rough night during Round 2 of the PBR World Finals on Friday night.
Neither Jess Lockwood nor Dakota Louis made it eight seconds, as Lockwood was bucked in 6.34 seconds by Sharon's Lil' Twister and Louis was bucked in 5.38 seconds by Foghorn Leghorn.
Sixteen cowboys recorded scoring rides on Friday, with Keyshawn Whitehorse marking a round-high 91-point ride. Boudreax Campbell was second at 89.25, followed by Eduardo Aparecido and Alex Cerqueira with 89s. Cole Melancon and Marco Eguchi tied for fifth with 88.75-point rides.
World No. 1 Jose Vitor Leme finished 16th during Round 2 with an 83.25-point ride. He's one of eight riders to cover both bulls in the first two rounds of the Finals.
Round 3 gets under way at 5:30 (MT) Saturday.
