GREAT FALLS — The University of Providence men's ice hockey team began its 2019-2020 campaign with a pair of victories over Williston State College (N.D.) in Great Falls on Friday and Saturday. The Argos won 6-4 on Friday.

On Saturday, Williston State scored first when Thomas King found the net early in the first period. However, UP would respond with a Levi Anderson score on a power play. Finally, with under 20 seconds in the first period, Cody Hendrickson added another, and the Argos never looked back as they won 7-1.

UP (2-0) plays next on October 10 at Brigham Young.
