KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2019-20 Division I Women's Basketball All-America Teams on Thursday. Montana Western's Savanna Bignell was named all-American honorable mention.
Bignell, a 5-6 senior guard from Avon, Mont., was named second-team all-Frontier Conference and had career-highs in every statistical category. She averaged 10.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals a game leading the Bulldogs to a 20-11 season and their fourth straight trip to the NAIA National Tournament.
"This accolade is a great cap for Savanna on an individual level," head coach Lindsay Woolley said. "She has put an inordinate amount if time into getting her body ready to play college basketball and its awesome to see her hard work rewarded."
