BELGRADE -- Before taking off for Fargo, N.D. on Friday for the FCS semifinal game , two Montana State football players had a big surprise for some Belgrade middle schoolers.

Members of Belgrade teacher Julie Dahinden's class participated in a door-decorating contest for the holidays. Instead of focusing on a holiday theme, the class decided to use their door to cheer on the hometown Bobcats as they prepare to face North Dakota State in the FCS semifinals.

They printed out head shots of the two Belgrade natives on the team, Derek Marks and Brayden Konkol. When the two Panther alumni got word of the post, they decided to surprise the class and visit the students in person on Thursday.
