BOZEMAN — As Montana State continues to search for its head football coach, one coach who had been a part of Jeff Choate's staff since 2019 is packing his bags and heading to the NFL.
MTN confirmed that Erik Frazier, the Bobcats' wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator, has taken a position with the Tennessee Titans under new offensive coordinator Todd Downing as an offensive assistant.
Downing was the tight ends coach for the Minnesota Vikings in 2018. During the same year, Frazier was the Bill Walsh Minority Intern with the Vikings.
Frazier, who came to Montana State from Western Illinois, was crucial in the development of former Bobcats wide receiver Travis Jonsen, who is now on the practice squad with Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
