BOZEMAN — Supercross fans got a special treat from a special guest Friday in Bozeman. 2018 Supercross world champion Jason Anderson held a clinic to help teach and spread the sport to kids of all ages.
With his eight years in the professional circuit, Anderson is using his platform as a world champion to spread the sport here in Bozeman. As recreational sports grow faster and faster in the area, so is the hope that dirt bike racing and supercross will, as well. The local supercross community around the state is just happy to have a role model like Anderson around the kids.
“To have him back here impacting and influencing our local state riders is just huge. And it’s something they’ll remember for the rest of their life," said track owner Jason Lambercht.
“In any way shape or form, I'm trying to help grow the sport, and I think coming here and doing this, I think it’s super cool," said Anderson. "And hopefully they enjoy it and hopefully it’s something they possibly look forward to possibly year to year or whatever we plan on.”
