BILLINGS -- Speed climbing will debut at the 2020 Big Sky State Games in Billings two weeks from Saturday. The event will take place Saturday, July 18 at SteepWorld Climbing & Fitness in Billings, under the direction of Commissioner Heath Lillie.
The entry fee for is $25 before July 15, with the on-site entry fee increasing to $35. Speed climbing will feature an Olympic style course with youth and adult divisions ranging from recreation to advanced options. The event was set to make it's Olympic debut at this summer's 2020 Games in Tokyo before the coronavirus pandemic struck.
