BILLINGS -- Shalom Suniula is a professional rugby player for the Seattle Seawolves in Major League Rugby. On Thursday evening, Suniula held a rugby clinic for kids at Rose Park in Billings. Among the things he hoped kids would take away from the clinic is listening to different voices and being coachable.

"Coming out here was to put on a fun experience, fun clinic for kids, something different," Suniula said. "We all know the power of different voices. Obviously, you’ve got parents at home telling you one thing, goes out the other ear, but when somebody else says it the message sticks. When it comes to rugby, hopefully I was that different voice, and they can take, if anything home, just a fun experience.”

Suniula is well-decorated in his rugby career. Suniula played for the United States at the 2009 Rugby World Sevens and also represented the United States at the 2011 Pan American Games, where he and his teammates earned a bronze medal.
