SACRAMENTO, Calif. – As the second night of the Unleash The Beast Sacramento Invitational came to a close, three-time PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Champion Silvano Alves (Pilar do Sul, Brazil) won Round 2 in front of a full house at Golden 1 Center.

As fans in California’s capital city roared, Alves emerged victorious from his matchup with Freckles Brown (Wentz Bucking Bulls/New West Rodeo) to claim the only 90-point ride thus far of the weekend.

The Saturday night win earned Alves 100 points toward the world standings.

Chase Outlaw (Hamburg, Arkansas) collected 60 world points for his second-place finish in Sacramento’s Round 2. His 89.75-point ride aboard Squirrel (Julio Moreno/Dallas Schott) brought the crowd to its feet to cheer on the determined Arkansas man in his journey to climb the world ranks. Outlaw sits in the No.3 spot in the world standings, just 1,062 points behind world leader Jess Lockwood (Volberg, Montana).

North Dakota cowboy Stetson Lawrence (Williston, North Dakota) collected a third-place finish when he made the 8 aboard Rocket (Julio Moreno/Dallas Schott). The 88-point ride earned him 50 world points.

Lockwood and Emilio Resende (Santa Helena do Goias, Brazil) finished out the night in a tie for fourth-place with matching 87.25 ride scores. Earlier in the evening, Resende rode Whiskey Bent (Wentz Bucking Bulls/New West Rodeo), while Lockwood conquered Little Red Corvette (Flying U/ Cindy Rosser) as the last rider to fire out of the chutes on Saturday night. Both cowboys collected 35 world points for their efforts.

The best bull riders of the PBR will return to the Golden 1 Center on Sunday, January 27 for Round 3 followed by the championship round.
