THREE FORKS — It was the final night of the Three Forks Rodeo Saturday night where the cowboys and cowgirls were one competition closer to qualifying for nationals.
In bareback riding, J2 Bridges of Dillon took first with an 82.
Cody Wiberg of Victor took first in Saturday’s steer wrestling contest with a 14.7 but did not place.
In tie down roping, Jack Graham of Lakeview dominated with a 10.9. He took first overall.
There was only one scored run for saddle bronc riding and it was Dakota Munns of St. Anthony with a 72.
In ladies barrel racing Gayleen Malone of Pray took first place.
Dalton Carr and Jake Plaggemeyer of Helena scored a 6.3 in team roping, placing them in first in Saturday’s run.
In junior breakaway roping only one cowboy had a timed run and that was Dillon Johnson of Belt with a 12.8
Finally, once again there was only one scored run for section bull riding on Saturday and that was Clayton Ahlgren of Grass Range with a 78 and the top ride of the weekend.
