PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Just one day after being released from the Calgary Stampeders, Alex Singleton has found a new home in the National Football League with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Stampeders let the former Montana State linebacker go in order for him to pursue a career in the NFL. Singleton signed with Philadelphia on Tuesday on a reserve/future contract.

The California native was voted the CFL’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2017 and led the league with 123 tackles in 2018.
