GREAT FALLS – There’s always a lot to do at the State Fair in Great Falls, but this year 221 Industries is bringing something new to the Expo Park — an Extreme Motocross Freestyle event featuring some of the best riders in the world performing death-defying feats.

The annual Airbash always drew a big crowd to its previous home, the Sting, but 221 CEO says bringing it to the fairgrounds will take it to another level of excitement.

“It’s like a privilege to get a State Fair show. Not a lot of outside promoters get to get in to the State Fair. It doesn’t happen very often, so it’s awesome to have something built in. When I brought it to Susan, we wanted something with motorsports, we wanted to do a demolition derby last year but the horse racing wouldn’t allow it,” said 221 Industries CEO Corey Smith. “It’s going to go great, it’s been getting some good reviews, and ticket sales are pretty steady. Sponsorships are awesome, so the community got behind it. I think State Fair is going to be huge.”

The show is set for 6:30 p.m. in the grandstands on July 31. Tickets are available at Sports City Cyclery or online at GoExpoPark.com
