The Sugar Show is back.

Well, tentatively at least.

Helena native "Sugar" Sean O'Malley announced on his official YouTube page that he received a bout agreement to fight Thomas Almeida at UFC 260 on March 27. While not signed yet or officially announced by the UFC, in the post O'Malley said he intended to sign the contract.

The fight will be O'Malley's first since suffering his first professional mixed martial arts loss back in August to Marlon "Chito" Vera at UFC 252. The loss dropped the 26-year-old to 12-1 in his MMA career and 4-1 in the UFC.

O'Malley, a bantamweight, currently trains out of the MMA Lab in Phoenix.

Almeida (22-4, 5-4 UFC) is currently on a three-fight losing streak, most recently losing on Oct. 17, 2020 to Jonathan Martinez in a featherweight bout.

UFC 260, which has yet to designate a location for the event, is scheduled to be a big night for the UFC promotion. The event is currently headlined by two title fights, with Francis Ngannou slated to take on champion Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title while Alexander Volkanovski is set to defend the featherweight belt against Brian Ortega.
