LIBERTY CORNER, N.J. – Billings golfer Leslie Spalding will play in her first U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship starting Thursday in Southern Pines, N.C.
Spalding just closed her 8th year as women’s head golf coach at San Diego State where her Aztecs won the Mountain West Conference Tournament by a stroke.
She previously played 10 years on the LPGA Tour after graduating from the University of Alabama and Billings Senior High School.
The U.S. Senior Women’s Open consists of 18 holes of stroke play each day from Thursday through Sunday 6,016-yard at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club. In the case of a tie after 72 holes, a two-hole aggregate playoff will commence immediately following the conclusion of the fourth round.
