BILLINGS -- Some people exercise to stay in shape, some to stay healthy, some take it seriously.
And a few are over the top.
Billings fitness athlete Hope Cicero finished fourth in the world Sunday among women ages 35-39 at the 2019 CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin. Cicero reached the Games a year ago as part of the four-person Billings CrossFit team that finished 15th. This year she decided to go rogue through a series of qualifiers and topped it with Sunday's dynamite finish. She placed first in the Bicuplet 1 event with a time of 4:05.41.
Cicero's year-end finish was fifth in the world and second in the U.S.A.
For those not familiar with CrossFit, the Games are a series of six endurance-based workouts. It's survival of the fittest between lifting, running, jumping, rowing and then some.
