BILLINGS – Montana Baseball and USA Baseball are collaborating to host multiple baseball events this weekend in Billings.

– RBI League kickoff tourney April 26-28 for 13U – 19U teams. Games at Urbaska and Halos fields Friday evening starting at 4 p.m. and running all day Saturday and Sunday.
– MLB Hallmark (first time ever MLB has hosted in Montana) PLAY BALL event is free for players age 5-13 at Dehler Park on Sunday April 28 from 3 – 4:30 p.m.
– 10U, 13U USA Baseball Futures Tryouts Sunday April 28 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Arrowhead Elementary Juniors Field. Tryout is for a tournament the week of August 29 in Iowa. *Registration fee
– 11U – 16U USA Baseball Regional Tryouts for the NTIS Northwest team to compete in Cary, NC this August. Tryout is Saturday, April 27 from 1 – 3 p.m. at Urbaska Field. *Registration fee
SATURDAY, 7 p.m. – FREE Positive Coaching Alliance (Southern California guest speaker) at the Billings Hilton Garden Inn on Grant Road. Parents and players meeting 7 p.m. Coaches meeting 8:30 p.m.
SUNDAY, 3-5 p.m. – Major League Baseball and Montana Baseball RBI are co-hosting the kids-focused ‘PLAY BALL’ event at Dehler Park, home of Minor League Baseball’s (MiLB) Billings Mustangs, this Sunday, April 28th, in Billings, Mont. MLB’s signature youth engagement activity, which is always free and open to the public, will feature hundreds of kids in a session of fun and informal baseball- and softball-centered stations, including home run hitting, running bases, bat & ball games and more. Attending kids will receive a bat & ball, PLAY BALL-branded t-shirts and wristbands.
