GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Voyagers defeated the Missoula Osprey 6-3 a Centene Stadium on Saturday.
The Voyagers were led by Travis Moniot (3-4 at the plate, 3 RBI) and Romy Gonzalez (2-4 at the plate, 2 RBI). The Osprey were led by Blaze Alexander (4-4 at the plate, 2 RBI), but Missoula struck out 15 times as a team in the loss.
The Voyagers (9-17) will play the Osprey (14-12) again on Sunday at 4 p.m. in Game 2 of a three-game series.
