BILLINGS – The bass fishing duo of Deb and Benny Wiles from Hardin has been crowned Angler Team of the Year by the National Bass Anglers Association’s Eastern Montana Circuit.
The season’s final tournament launched out of Hell Creek Marina at Fort Peck. Nine teams on the circuit qualified for the NBAA Championships next spring at Table Rock Lake in Missouri. The winning team there earns a new Ranger bass boat.
The 2019 tournament schedule will be posted after permits are issued from the state, likely in February.
