Competitors battle the heat at the Bridger Ridge Run

BOZEMAN – The annual Ed Anacker Bridger Ridge run took place Saturday in Bozeman, and 250 competitors from all over the country competed.

The nearly 20-mile race takes runners throughout an elevation gain of 6,800 feet and then a drop of 9,500-feet as they run across the peaks of the Bridger Mountains. The finish line takes competitors right to the “M” Trailhead.

The winner was Bozeman’s Mark Egge with a time of 3:35:09. The top female finisher was Kristina Trygstad-Saari of Bozeman with a time of 4:01:37. For full results, click here.
