BOZEMAN — The Bozeman Bucks finished their series Saturday against the Butte Miners with a 3-0 sweep. They finished Game 1 the doubleheader 19-5 and Game 2 10-0.
In Game 1, the Bucks went up 19-0 in the bottom of the fourth thanks to Keller Murfitt’s five RBI.
Butte scored five runs in the top of the fifth but the mercy rule was in place, ending the game after four and a half innings.
In Game 2, Bozeman’s Zander Petrich struck out 11 batters to shut out the Miners.
