GREAT FALLS – Great Falls Voyagers first baseman Corey Zangari belted three home runs in a 15-11 come-from-behind victory over the Orem Owlz on Friday.
Orem jumped all over Voyagers starting pitcher Codi Heuer and rolled to a 10-0 lead after the third inning. But the Voyagers’ offense clicked from there, scoring 14 straight runs on 17 hits.
Zangari hit two home runs on Tuesday in a win over the Owlz, bringing his weekly total to five bombs. The Voyagers (17-11), who completed a four-game sweep over the Owlz, are now 13-3 at Centene Stadium. Great Falls continues its seven-game homestand with a three-game series against Grand Junction starting Saturday.
