GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Voyagers hosted the Helena Brewers for a doubleheader at Centene Stadium on Saturday, and came away with an 11-7 victory in the first game. The bats were hot for Great Falls right out of the gate, as the team scored four runs in the bottom of the first and two runs in the bottom of the second. Then the team was propelled by back-to-back home runs from Adam McGinnis and Jay Estes in the bottom of the third.
Great Falls held on to win the second game as well, 8-6, and has now won seven games in a row. The Voyagers (10-6) will host the Brewers (8-8) again for a 4 p.m. on Sunday in Great Falls.
