GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Chargers split a doubleheader with the Billings Scarlets on Sunday afternoon, taking the first game 5-1 before falling 14-3 in Game 2.

The Chargers (10-11, 1-1) got on the board early, plating three runs in the bottom of the first inning for a 3-0 lead. The Scarlets got a run back in the second inning off an Aaron Seward RBI double, but Matt Houlihan held Billings scoreless the rest of the way to earn the win.

Game 2 was a much different story with the Scarlets (5-7, 1-2) jumping out to a 3-0 lead of their own, and staying hot with a 14-3 win in five innings.
