HELENA BREWERS PRESS RELEASE

HELENA – Today the Helena Brewers, the Pioneer League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, named Greg Mroz as their new Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. Mroz comes to the Brewers from the San Rafael Pacifics, where he spent the 2017 season in the same capacity. He takes over for Garrett Greene, who was recently named the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Biloxi Shuckers, the AA affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

“I am beyond grateful to the Helena Brewers for giving me this incredible opportunity,” Mroz said. “Broadcasting baseball has been a lifelong dream of mine, and I’m excited to continue to live that dream in Helena. I can’t wait to get started.”

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Mroz graduated from Northwestern University in 2015, where as a student he ran the student television and radio stations. Having broadcast various Northwestern sports over his time as a student, Mroz’s first full time foray into baseball came in the summer of 2013, where he was the broadcaster for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Upon graduation, Mroz accepted a position as a broadcasting assistant with the Clinton LumberKings of the Midwest League for the 2015 season. He was promoted to Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the 2016 season.

“Greg brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that make him a great addition to our organization,” said Brewers President and General Manager Paul Fetz. “Garrett Greene did a tremendous job for us last season, and I am incredibly happy for him in his new role. I know Greg will step in and provide our fans an informative and fun broadcast every game.”

The Helena Brewers 2018 home opener is June 16th against the Great Falls Voyagers. For season tickets, merchandise, and more, visit www.helenabrewers.net or call 406-495-0500.
