Former Dawson Community College sophomore guard Alexius Foster has been voted 2019 WBCA Two-Year College Coaches’ All-America honorable mention by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
Foster finished the season averaging 19 points and five rebounds a game. Her 617 points vaulted Foster her to the 2nd all-time leading scorer with a total of 1,191 points. She shot 44% from the field, 35% from the three-point line, and 81 percent from the free throw line.
Foster also was voted Mon-Dak All-Conference First Team and NJCAA All Region.
Foster, from Franklin Pierce High School in Tacoma, Washington, has verbally committed to continue her career at the University of Denver.
