GLENDIVE – Dawson Community College Head Softball Coach Jim LeProwse is pleased to announce that Billings Senior standout Laurel Kilgore has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Dawson next season.
Laurel was a second team all-conference selection in 2018. Laurel has very good foot speed and does a great job as a slap-hitter. She also tracks balls very well in the outfield and takes great angles. She has good arm strength and is a competitor.
“Laurel is a fantastic addition to our softball program at Dawson. She adds a tremendous amount of speed to our team. She plays extremely hard and her focus is always on the game,” said LeProwse.
“She also comes from a great high school program at Billings Senior. I expect Laurel to do great things for us at Dawson next season. I am extremely happy that she chose to continue her education and play softball here.”
