GLENDIVE – Dawson CC Baseball is excited to add Thomas Rutherford to their roster for the Spring 2018 season.
Thomas graduated from Rangeview High School (Aurora, CO), where he excelled both as a left-handed pitcher and as an outfielder. Thomas played baseball collegiately at Northeastern Junior College before transferring to Dawson CC.
“Thomas is a true two-way player,” explains DCC Assistant Baseball Coach Aaron Leanhardt. “He bats and throws left-handed, which is a great addition to both our lineup and our pitching staff.”
Rutherford is excited to make the transition to Montana.
“I have chosen to commit to Dawson CC because of the fantastic opportunity that is present here,” he said. “The amount of exposure that guys can get here sounds very promising as well as the direction the team is heading in. Looking forward to being able to come in and make an impact for the program as well as put myself in a favorable situation moving forward.”
