GLASGOW — After winning the Class B-C wrestling duals on Saturday, holding off the 15 other teams in attendance, the Huntley Project wrestling team is up in the latest Class B-C coaches polls.

The Red Devils jumped up one spot to No. 3 in the team poll, behind top-ranked, defending champion Colstrip and No. 2 Glasgow. Columbus-Absarokee and Poplar round out the top five.

Clayton Donnally continues to be Huntley Project’s top-ranked individual, No. 2 in the 126-pound weight class. Sam Schmidt is third at 160, while Ashton Christman and Journey Grimsrud are both ranked No. 5 — Christman at 120 pounds, Grimsrud in the 285-pound division.

There were few changes to the top-ranked individuals this week, though Colstrip’s Jackson Currier, who had been No. 1 at 145 pounds, was top-ranked at 138 pounds in the latest poll. He, Ty Bradley (160 pounds), Nakoda Siegel (182) and Trey Yates (285) all remain No. 1 in their respective weight classes for the Colts.

Cut Bank’s JR Seewald, a Montana Tech football commit, moved from No. 3 to No. 1 at 170 pounds, and though Tanner Cook remains No. 1 at 113 pounds, he now wrestles for Columbus-Absarokee after his family recently moved. Brother Cooper Cook is No. 2 at 120 pounds.

Circle, Valier and Arlee remain the top three Class C programs.
