SIDNEY — After finishing runner-up to top-ranked, defending champion Sidney at the Class A wrestling duals in Belgrade over the weekend, Frenchtown jumped past Havre High to No. 2 in the latest Class A wrestling polls.
Walker Dyer and Jake Bibler remain top-ranked at 113 and 120 pounds, respectively, while the Broncs also saw Landen Stewart second at 103 pounds and Tate Jones No. 3 at 182. Eli Warner was ranked No. 6 at 113.
Sidney has three individuals ranked No. 1 — Christian Dean at 138, Jace Winter at 152 and Trevor Dean at 170 — while Kaiden Cline, Jett Jones and Riley Waters are all ranked No. 2 in their classes. Winter replaced Belgrade’s John Mears, who had been No. 1 at 152 the majority of the season.
Other changes saw Glendive’s Keegan Mires vault to the top of the heavyweight division, while Columbia Falls’ Colten McPhee moved past Sidney’s Jones for the top spot at 182 pounds.
