BOZEMAN – The Bozeman wrestling team welcomed in one of the best teams in the state, Great Falls High, for its home opener on Tuesday night, and the Hawks defended their home mats, downing the Bison 37-30.
After trailing 6-0 due to the 103-pound division being open for Bozeman, the Hawks rattled off four straight pins to take a 24-6 lead. In total, six Bozeman wrestlers recorded pins on the evening.
The Hawks have a few days of rest before they travel to Great Falls CMR for a tournament on Friday.
