BELGRADE — Belgrade High School is sending another student-athlete to the next level. On Wednesday, Junior Taylor Christensen signed her letter of intent to play volleyball at University of Providence.

Christensen will be joining her sister Bailey in a year. Bailey Christensen signed with the Argos in May.

“It was definitely a big positive for them,” Taylor said about getting to play with her sister.

The junior is Belgrade’s all-time leader in digs with another season of high school volleyball to go. She also helped lead the Panthers to a 30-4 record this past season.

“I’ve had the offer for a while and since I know I want to go there, then to just do it and get it over with,” Taylor said about her decision to sign with a year left of high school.

“It’s super relieving and exciting. I love their coaches, they’re just so welcoming and their campus is so nice,” she finished.
