CHURCHILL — The Manhattan Christian Eagles were in action Thursday in the District 11C semifinal volleyball match against Gardiner.
Gardiner was a favorite to win the volleyball state championship this year, but Manhattan Christian is also one of the best teams in Class C. The teams split their regular-season series.
Thursday’s semifinal match couldn’t have been much closer, with Gardiner ultimately earning the five-set win 25-13, 22-25, 8-25, 25-22, 22-20.
