GREAT FALLS – The District 7C volleyball tournament started Thursday at Great Falls Central.
In the first rounds of the day, No. 4-seed Geraldine-Highwood took down No. 5-seed Cascade in straight sets. No. 3 Great Falls Central defeated No. 6 Centerville 25-22, 25-7, 25-15.
In the next rounds, No. 1-seed Belt went up against Geraldine-Highwood and took down the Rivals 25-17, 25-15, 25-14.
Then No. 2-seed Fort Benton took on Great Falls Central. It took four sets, but Fort Benton took the win 25-11, 25-17, 6-25, 25-23. Belt and Fort Benton will meet in the semifinals on Friday.
The District 7C tournament continues Friday at Great Falls Central beginning at 10 a.m.
