BELGRADE – The Belgrade volleyball team played up a class as it faced Butte at home on Tuesday night, but taking on a bigger school was no problem as the Panthers swept the Bulldogs 25-16, 25-20, 26-24.
Belgrade now moves to 12-1 (3-0 Central A) on the year, while the Bulldogs fall to 9-14 (4-6 Eastern AA). The Panthers are back in action Saturday as they take on Billings Central at home.
Butte returns to the Mining City Oct. 23 to face Bozeman in its final home match of the season.
