Helena High, Helena Capital volleyball squads topple Kalispells

HELENA – Top-ranked Helena High made short work of Kalispell Glacier, while No. 2 Helena Capital took down Kalispell Flathead in four sets in Western AA volleyball on Friday night.

Taylor Huot had a team-high eight kills for Helena High (18-2 overall, 9-0 Western AA) and Emily Feller added 18 assists and a pair of blocks as the Bengals won 25-13, 25-16, 25-10 over the Wolfpack.

Katie Jenneskens had eight digs, while Madison Robertson had a match-high seven aces. Feller added four.

Aubrie Rademacher had six kills and two blocks in the defeat.

Across town, Helena Capital remained hot on the heels of its crosstown rival, defeating Flathead in four sets — 25-12, 25-18, 18-25, 25-20.

The teams swap opponents on Saturday, Flathead will face Helena High, Glacier treks to Capital.
