HELENA — For the second time in as many days, the No. 1 Helena High and No. 2 Helena Capital volleyball teams earned sweeps over Missoula Sentinel and Missoula Hellgate.
After Tuesday saw the Bengals, the new No. 1 team in Montana’s Class AA, take three sets from Missoula Hellgate in the Garden City, Helena High earned another league sweep against defending state champion Missoula Sentinel. Helena won 25-14, 25-6, 25-14 on Thursday night, remaining undefeated in Western AA play this season.
Helena Capital, which downed the Spartans in Missoula on Tuesday, took care of Missoula Hellgate 25-16, 25-20, 25-13 on Thursday. The Bruins have only one conference loss this season, a straight-set sweep against Helena High last week.
