JEFFERSON – Football season isn’t the only one that’s getting underway.
Fall also means volleyball in Montana and the Jefferson Panthers are gearing up for another season on the court. They may have lost some height, with players like Emily McGinnis graduating and heading to Montana Tech, but they are returning 10 seniors, six with state tournament experience. So the Panthers should be in good shape to start the season. But there is still plenty they have to accomplish before their first match.
“It’s just the competition. We often say that some of the best competition, some of the best, not the best, but some of the best competition we’ll have is right here in this gym,” said head volleyball coach Mike Majors. “And the girls know it. They know their spots are on the line. Stay healthy and to keep the energy we have at practice right now and we’ll be all right.”
