MISSOULA – The 2019 Senior Little League Western Regional Tournament began today in Missoula.
In the first game, the home team, Zootown was taken down by the winners of last years tournament, Hawaii.
In the second game, the Zootown bats came alive as they were taking on the other Montana team in the tournament out of Billings.
A number of errors and passed balls hurt Billings and allowed Zootown to rack up nine runs in five innings.
It wasn’t only the bats though, Zootown pitcher Charlee Hoover went the distance pitching all seven innings and only giving up one run.
In the end, Zootown picked up their first win of the tournament, 9-1.
