The Broncs jumped all over the Bengals in their opening game of the day, scoring five runs in the opening frame. Senior then added two more runs in both the second and third innings to open up a 9-2 lead after three en route to a 12-3 win.
Senior pounded out eighteen hits in the contest, while Jaida Ontiveros pitched a complete game for the Broncs and gave up just three runs on five hits. Cassidy Venner went 3-5 for Senior, knocking in three runs and scoring twice. Jensen Keller wound up 4-5.
Billings Senior jumped out on Helena Capital 3-1 after the opening frame and led the Bruins 5-1 after three innings. Capital would rally in the bottom of the fourth inning, though, as Riley Ames singled to center, scoring both Lexi McNew and Madison Davis.
In the bottom of the fifth, Capital tied the game at five on a two-run home run by Lauren Archie to center field. Senior, though, would score again in the top of the 6th to take a one-run lead, as Zent singled to center to score Keller. Capital would get a runner on base in the bottom of the seventh, but a double play ended the game.
