BILLINGS – The Great Falls High Bison hope they started a new two-year streak Saturday.
After losing on the softball field for the first time since 2017 on Thursday, Great Falls got back in the winning column Saturday by sweeping Billings Senior and Billings Skyview on the road in Eastern AA conference games.
The Bison started with an 8-3 win over Senior, ending the Broncs’ six-game winning streak. Great Falls then beat Skyview, 10-1, in the late game to stay atop the Eastern AA standings.
The Bison are on track to earn the No. 1 seed at the Eastern AA divisional tournament, the new postseason format in lieu of playoff series’. The Eastern AA divisional will be in Billings May 17-18.
