GREAT FALLS – Great Falls CMR outfielder Madi Moore signed a national letter of intent Wednesday afternoon to play NCAA Division I softball at the University of North Dakota.

As a junior, Moore was named first-team all-state while batting .457 with a team-high 37 hits and eight home runs. In her 2017 sophomore season, Moore batted .493 with eight home runs and 22 RBI helping the Rustlers to the Class AA state championship.

Moore also pitched for CMR as a junior, going 7-7 in 14 starts.

The senior becomes the third Rustler player in three years to sign with a Division I program out of high school, joining Savanna Voyles and Tristin Achenbach, who both signed with the University of Montana following the 2017 season.
