BOZEMAN — Cullen Visser shot a 78 and Jillian Frye tallied a 90 as the Manhattan Christian golfers won the individual medalist honors at the Manhattan Christian Golf Meet on Tuesday.
Visser paired 39s on the front and back to defeat Jefferson’s Preston Field by two strokes. Manhattan Christian’s Caidin Hill and David Aamot placed third and fourth, respectively.
Frye opened the meet with a 47 on the front, then shot 43 on the back to defeat Ennis’ Landri Paladichuk. Both shot identical 90s, but Frye was given the tiebreaker due to holding the lower score on the back 9. Paladichuk shot a 45 on the front and back to total her 90.
Manhattan’s Jasmine Grossman placed third with a 97, while Manhattan Christian’s Alexa VanDyken and Natalie Walhof were fourth and fifth, respectively.
