BOZEMAN – Five Montana schools battled the snowy weather in the Gallatin Valley to participate in a tennis tournament on Friday morning. Bozeman and Belgrade both played host to Butte, Helena High and Helena Capital.
Players braved the 30-degree temperatures and heavy snow during their matches. Due to the conditions, not all the matches could be finished.
Bozeman defeated rival Butte 7-1, sweeping every doubles match. Meanwhile the Hawks boys team also took down the Bulldogs 7-1. Bozeman also played against Helena High on their home court, but could not finish their matches before the snow rolled in.
