Swimming for the Billings Aquatic Club in December, Leuthold finished fourth in the 1,600 freestyle at the Speedo Winter Junior Nationals meet in Austin, Texas. He qualified along with Ethan Harder and Peter Thompson from the BAC.
The state swim meet opened Friday in Bozeman with prelims. Championships are Saturday at Bozeman High School. Central’s boys are chasing their third straight Class A title.
