Bozeman sweeps team titles at season-opening Billings Swim Invite

BILLINGS – Bozeman’s boys and girls started the 2018-19 swimming season on a strong note Saturday, sweeping the team titles at the opening Billings Invitational inside the Fortin Center at Rocky Mountain College.

Bozeman’s boys doubled up second place Billings West, 127 to 64. The Hawks won five races, including two relays. West’s Brayden Arnold was a double event winner, taking the 100 Backstroke and 200 Freestyle.

The Hawk girls scored 114 points to run away from second place Billings Senior with 63. Bozeman won seven of the 11 races, including two victories from Sara Guillen in the 200 and 500 Freestyles. Billings Central’s Julia Peterson was also a double winner, taking the 500 and 100 Freestyle races. Central’s girls finished third with 56 points.
